Because many visitors to site will never have imported goods from Japan, it is only natural that a number of questions will arise. We hope this FAQ PAGE will help you to resolve some of your concerns and consider importing your choice of the lines that we are pleased to offer. |

| About Import Procedures |
|
| - What is CIF? |
| CIF means Cost, Insurance and Freight. If our quotation states CIF LOS ANGELES, the quoted prices include insurance coverage and freight up to Los Angeles. |
| - What are the payment terms? |
| You may pay by L/C or T/T. In the case of an L/C, please open an "Irrevocable L/C at Sight" when your order is confirmed. In the case of a T/T, we require you to forward the full amount upon confirmation of your order. |
| - What is an L/C? |
L/C means Letter of Credit, which will be issued (opened) by your bank. This is the preferred method of money transfer in international business. An irrevocable L/C is a Letter of Credit that cannot be canceled. This guarantees that a buyer's payment to a seller will be received on-time and for the correct amount. Please consult with your bank. As soon as the order is confirmed, we will send you our pro forma invoice. This may be required for your bank to open an L/C.

| - What is a T/T? |
| T/T means Telegraphic Transfer, sometimes called Wire Transfer or SWIFT. In the case of a T/T, we require you to forwards the full amount at the same time as you submit your order. You simply pay the funds into your bank, which will then transfer the payment into our bank account within a few days. This transaction is simple but requires that you trust us because we receive your money before the shipment is made. |
| - Do we have to pay shipping costs? |
| Our CIF prices include freight charges up to a port of entry or a container depot nearest to you. Please ask your freight forwarder to collect the container from the yard and transport it to your site at your cost. In the case of the U.S.A., we can quote prices CIF according to your specified destination, which includes freight charges up to your door. Additional costs for which you are liable may include import duty, some port charges, customs fees or forwarder charges, etc. Please consult with your local freight forwarder for more details. If you do not know of any forwarders, please refer to your local telephone directory or do a local Web search. |
| About Tractors |

| - Does SANKO sell single units? |
| We are sorry, but we do not sell single units. As a wholesaler, we ship full containers only. Usually, we ship 8 units in a 20' container or 16 units in a 40' container. Therefore, the MOQ is 8 units in a 20' container. |
| - How old are these tractors? |
| We are unable to verify the exact year of manufacture of each tractor because they do not come with documentation or records. We can only advise the range of years during which a particular model was being produced. You will see those years in the product details. |
| - How many hours of operation do these tractors have? |
| You will see the hour meter readings in the product details. They tend to have relatively few hours because tractors used for rice fields are operated for only about 10 days in the year. Hour meters on some models have only 3 digits, which shows up to 999 hours only. If the meter has 3 digits, we indicate just those digits, as in “543 hours”, in which case we do not know whether the actual time is 543 or 1543 hours. If the meter has 4 digits, we indicate the four-digit time, e.g., “0543 hours”. |
| - Are they all in running condition? |
| As these tractors are in "as-is" used condition, we do not undertake that they are perfect. We try to purchase good tractors. You may need to do some reconditioning work on most of these tractors. We do not imply or offer any warranty on tractors. |
| - Do you sell reconditioned tractors? |
| We do not sell reconditioned tractors. Our customers/importers are doing a good job of improving the units in various countries. If you would like to buy already reconditioned tractors, just let us know your location and we will introduce you to an importer who can supply refurbished units. |
| - Do they come with tillers? |
| Most of our tractors have rotary tillers. |
| - Are there any other implements? |
| Other used implements are not normally available from us. Very occasionally, we come across front-end loaders. |
| - Do they have 3-point hitches? |
| You will see 2P or 3P in the product details. Some of our customers are converting 2P to 3P locally. We do not do this in Japan. |
| - Do you supply spare parts? |
| You can get most service parts from the dealers of brand-new Japanese tractors in your country. Note: You will have to find a cooperative dealer because some will not be happy that you are importing used tractors. If you have difficulty in sourcing parts in your country, we will try to purchase parts for you in Japan. Unfortunately, availability of older parts is becoming more and more limited in Japan, these days. We would hope that you can find a source of original or aftermarket parts in your area. |
| About Pachislo machines |

| - Will Sanko sell just one Pachislo unit? |
| We are a wholesaler and as such we do not sell individual units. We ship full containers only. Usually we ship 200 units in a 20' container, 400 units in a 40' container or 460 units in a 40' hi-cube container. Therefore, the MOQ is 200 units in a 20' container. |
| - Are these legal in other countries? |
| These machines are completely legal in Japan because they are recognized as amusement machines. However, we can't check all the laws in every country. We cannot undertake responsibility for the legality of Pachislo in your country. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check local laws relating to Pachislo prior to purchase. In the case of the U.S., you should be aware that the laws governing this type of machine differ from state to state. |
| - How do you manage to source so many good Pachislo machines? |
| In Japan, there are many Pachinko/Pachislo parlors and they are fiercely competitive. In order to lure and retain customers, the parlors have to frequently replace existing machines with new models. As a result, there always large numbers of 1 or 2 year-old machines coming onto the used market. |
| - Do you sell Pachinko machines? |
| We do not offer Pachinko machines to all interested parties because the Pachinko system is not based on standalone machines. Pachinko games are designed to be installed against walls and connected to a master ball supply system. If you understand this and are prepared to import on this basis, please contact us and we will be happy to supply you. Good news for the future is that we are working on development of a standalone, box-type Pachinko that looks like a Pachislo. |
| About Motorcycles/Motorscooters |

| - Do you supply bigger motorcycles as well as scooters? |
Yes, we can supply bigger motorcycles but availability is limited. Just let us know the models you are looking for and we will check availability.

| About Mini Trucks |
|
| - How is the condition of these mini-trucks? |
We check all the trucks to be in running condition. If it has big dents or rust on the body, we repair and partly repaint. But there still are small rust or dents as we do not do full repaint on them. |
| - Do you supply any spacial painting like camouflage? |
We are sorry, but we do not do any special paintings. We just ship them in original colors, mostly white. |
| - Do you sell left-hand drive models? |
No. All these mini-trucks are of right-hand drive. |
| - Do you sell single units? |
We are sorry, but we do not sell single units. As a wholesaler, we ship full containers only. Usually, we ship 7 units in a 40' container. Therefore, minimum order quantity is 7 units. |
| - How many mileage do these mini-trucks have? |
We can say these trucks are turning around 100,000 kilometers. Milage meters on many of these trucks have only 5 digits, which shows up to 99999 kilometers only. If the meter shows“34567 km", we do not know whether the actual milage is 34567 or 134567 km. Therefore, we do not indicate the milage on the list. If you still like to know the milage, we will inform you upon your request. |
| - Are these mini-trucks legal for driving in the U.S. or other countries? |
In the U.S., it is not allowed to drive on highways but allowed for off road use driving up to 25 mph. According to the US Customs instruction, we fit a governor on each truck so that the shift lever goes into 1st and reverse only. As for the other countries, we do not have much information for the legality. Please consult with your government authorities. |
| About Working Platform |

| - How is the condition of these platforms? |
We check all the machines to be working condition. If it has some problems, we will put remarks on it. |
| - How many is the minimum order quantity? |
In case of the smaller platforms which can be shipped in a container, we have to fill up a container to save freight. The minimum order quantity depends on the size of the machines. |
| - Do you sell bigger machines which cannot be loaded in a container? |
We can sell the bigger machines subject to the availability of vessels. We have to ship them on Ro-Ro vessel or a conventional vessel which are not much available. We have to check the availability beforehand. |
| - Are these machines battery powered or engine powered? |
It depends. Less than 6 meter class are mostly battery powered but the bigger class are mainly diesel engine powered. |
| - Does each machine have battery charger? |
Each of battery machines has a battery charger but it is only for 100 volt. If your country has different voltage, you need to use a transformer suitable to your country. We are sorry that we do not supply any transformers. |
